Setting up your free business page on Cutmedia.com’s local sites
Published April 12, 2010 Updates Leave a CommentTags: Free business page, Fulhamroad.co.uk, Kingsroad.co.uk, Nottinghillgate.co.uk
Our local sites were quietly turned on last week and local businesses are now starting to create their free business page including Wall London and Bella Bello Personal Training.
Here’s a simple guide for local businesses.
The process
- Visit either the homepage of Kingsroad.co.uk, Fulhamroad.co.uk or Nottinghillgate.co.uk and click on “set up my free business page” on the bottom right.
- Enter the email address that will be used to manage your business page / pages followed by the desired password. You should then receive and email with a link that you can either click on or paste into a browser.
- Upon loading you will see the first of a two stage process where you enter your business details. Once you have finished stage one press the “update” button at the bottom of the page and you will be taken to stage two.
- Stage two is where you can insert the relevant categories for your business. Make sure that you are as comprehensive as possible because readers of the site can find your business based on the categories that you set on the local map.
- Once you have updated the second stage your application comes through to us and we will approve your business if you qualify for a free business page!
Qualification Criteria
- Kingsroad.co.uk & Fulhamroad.co.uk – Your business is situated within a 0.25 mile radius of any part of the road
- Nottinghillgate.co.uk – Any business qualifies within a 1 mile radius of Notting Hill Gate Station
Managing your business pages with one email login
We designed our login system to accommodate the requirement that businesses may have a presence on more than one of our local sites (Kingsroad.co.uk, Fulhamroad.co.uk or Nottinghillgate.co.uk). Therefore we made it possible for a local business to manage 1 business page per email address. Once you have completed you first sign up on Kingsroad.co.uk you can go to one of our other sites and log in with the same account and set up another business page there!
Local business page examples
When you create your free business page, you’ll then get your own URL – like Wall London and Bella Bello Personal Training. You can the use this link to market your local shop – whether it’s on your website or on your social media profiles.
